Ako Miyaki-Murphy has recently joined Tacey Goss. Prior to relocating to the Seattle area, she practiced at a private law firm in Honolulu, Hawaii and represented various clients in both litigation and transaction matters. Her experience ranges from construction defects and employment discrimination litigation to real estate sales and acquisitions and corporate business transactions.
Born and raised in Kanazawa, Japan, Ms. Miyaki-Murphy is fluent in written and spoken Japanese.

Education: Ms. Miyaki-Murphy is a 2002 graduate of the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where she served as the Student Publications Editor for the John Marshall Law Review. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Illinois State University in 1993. Ms. Miyaki-Murphy is a member of the Hawaii State and Washington State Bar Associations.
